Investing.com – Russia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Power and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index rose 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were Rosneft PJSC (MCX: ROSN ), which rose 5.83% or 26.35 points to trade at 478.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AK ALROSA PJSC (MCX: ALRS ) added 5.76% or 2.85 points to end at 52.33 and Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO (MCX: CBOM ) was up 5.48% or 0.42 points to 8.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Polyus PJSC (MCX: PLZL ), which fell 1.30% or 25.40 points to trade at 1,924.60 at the close. Surgutneftegas PJSC Pref (MCX: SNGS_p ) declined 0.05% or 0.03 points to end at 52.28 and GDR ROS AGRO PLC ORD SHS (MCX: AGRODR ) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 1,083.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 151 to 92 and 11 ended unchanged.

The Russian Volatility Index – RVI , which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was down 0.82% to 51.98.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.15% or 5.05 to $3,341.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 3.12% or 1.95 to hit $64.42 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.33% or 0.22 to trade at $67.85 a barrel.
USD/RUB was unchanged 0.00% to 82.17, while EUR/RUB unchanged 0.00% to 93.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.18.
