Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing , Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alistithmar AREIC Diversified REIT Unit (TADAWUL: 4350 ), which rose 10.00% or 0.60 points to trade at 6.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL: 4300 ) added 3.82% or 0.84 points to end at 22.84 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL: 8150 ) was up 3.44% or 0.54 points to 16.22 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL: 4130 ), which fell 5.74% or 0.19 points to trade at 3.12 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (TADAWUL: 4011 ) declined 4.83% or 0.68 points to end at 13.40 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL: 2370 ) was down 4.83% or 1.80 points to 35.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 262 to 74 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL: 4300 ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.82% or 0.84 to 22.84.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.76% or 1.10 to $63.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.49% or 0.98 to hit $66.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 6.79 to trade at $3,339.61 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.26, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 99.33.
