Investing.com – Belgium stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials , Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Brussels, the BEL 20 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the BEL 20 were Warehouses de Pauw Comm VA (EBR: WDPP ), which rose 2.31% or 0.50 points to trade at 22.18 at the close. Meanwhile, Elia (EBR: ELI ) added 1.59% or 1.40 points to end at 89.40 and Lotus Bakeries (EBR: LOTB ) was up 1.47% or 120.00 points to 8,270.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azelis Corporate Services NV (EBR: AZE ), which fell 2.01% or 0.31 points to trade at 15.08 at the close. UCB SA (EBR: UCB ) declined 1.52% or 2.10 points to end at 136.30 and KBC Groep NV (EBR: KBC ) was down 1.30% or 1.04 points to 79.02.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 52 to 40 and 12 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.06% or 35.54 to $3,310.86 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 3.27% or 2.04 to hit $64.51 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 2.98% or 1.96 to trade at $67.81 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.36% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 99.24.
