Investing.com -- Systemair AB (ST: SYSR ) on Wednesday said that Roland Kasper is stepping down from the role of CEO after a decade leading the company.

The decision was made in agreement with the Board of Directors, and the process of finding his successor is already underway.

Kasper will remain in his role until a new CEO is appointed to ensure a smooth transition.

Kasper first joined Systemair in 2007 and took on the CEO role in 2015. Under Kasper’s leadership, the Swedish ventilation systems manufacturer has seen substantial growth, doubling its revenue and improving profitability.

His tenure has been marked by a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions that strengthened Systemair’s market position.

In addition to financial performance, Kasper spearheaded several restructuring initiatives, streamlining operations and enhancing the company’s global organization.

“It is now the right time for a new CEO to develop Systemair forward,” said Gerald Engström, chairman of Systemair, adding that the company remains focused on continued growth and increasing profitability.
