Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financials , Insurance and Banking sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 3.25% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ), which rose 2.93% or 115.00 points to trade at 4,045.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE: NVMI ) added 2.03% or 1,470.00 points to end at 73,970.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE: ORA ) was up 1.45% or 380.00 points to 26,600.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE: HARL ), which fell 9.89% or 626.00 points to trade at 5,703.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE ) declined 8.46% or 585.00 points to end at 6,330.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE: FIBI ) was down 8.07% or 1,550.00 points to 17,650.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 423 to 42 and 73 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.26% or 0.18 to $67.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $71.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 22.40 to trade at $3,048.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 1.06% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 4.02.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 103.74.
