Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: SCAb ), which rose 3.30% or 4.80 points to trade at 148.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) added 1.99% or 16.60 points to end at 849.00 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST: ATCOb ) was up 1.85% or 3.20 points to 173.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ), which fell 12.72% or 12.42 points to trade at 85.20 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) declined 1.32% or 1.65 points to end at 123.30 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ) was down 0.89% or 2.20 points to 244.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 425 to 334 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.39% or 0.29 to $74.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $78.27 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 15.41 to trade at $2,780.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 11.47, while USD/SEK fell 0.94% to 10.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 107.03.
