Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as in the sectors led shares .

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were UniCredit SpA (BIT: CRDI ), which rose 2.53% or 1.08 points to trade at 43.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Bper Banca SpA (BIT: EMII ) added 2.38% or 0.15 points to end at 6.62 and Snam SpA (BIT: SRG ) was up 2.13% or 0.09 points to 4.41 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ferrari NV (BIT: RACE ), which fell 1.85% or 7.70 points to trade at 409.20 at the close. Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT: CPRI ) declined 1.07% or 0.06 points to end at 5.37 and Hera (BIT: HRA ) was down 0.81% or 0.03 points to 3.42.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 272 to 250 and 41 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.95% or 0.72 to $74.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.85% or 0.67 to hit $78.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 9.19 to trade at $2,761.71 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 107.92.
