Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials , Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX fell 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were ING Groep NV (AS: INGA ), which rose 3.17% or 0.48 points to trade at 15.54 at the close. Meanwhile, ABN AMRO Group NV (AS: ABNd ) added 1.26% or 0.20 points to end at 15.62 and Shell PLC (AS: SHEL ) was up 1.25% or 0.40 points to 32.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adyen NV (AS: ADYEN ), which fell 5.54% or 81.60 points to trade at 1,390.80 at the close. BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS: BESI ) declined 2.05% or 2.95 points to end at 141.00 and ASML Holding NV (AS: ASML ) was down 1.90% or 13.80 points to 711.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 74 to 27 and 8 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.20% or 1.67 to $77.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.83% or 1.46 to hit $81.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.27% or 34.46 to trade at $2,680.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.02, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 109.74.
