Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (BVC: PMG ), which rose 3.04% or 230.00 points to trade at 7,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ) added 1.65% or 180.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC: ARG_p ) was up 0.98% or 140.00 points to 14,380.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which fell 2.81% or 50.00 points to trade at 1,730.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) declined 2.10% or 210.00 points to end at 9,790.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC: CFV_p ) was down 1.27% or 180.00 points to 14,020.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.01% or 0.03 to $327.43 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.95% or 112.00 to hit $11,933.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 8.31 to trade at $2,661.69 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.61% to 4,345.53, while BRL/COP rose 1.30% to 711.65.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 106.67.
