Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ), which rose 0.78% or 1.00 points to trade at 129.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) fell 0.32% or 1.10 points to end at 339.20 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) was down 0.50% or 4.00 points to 799.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE: DEMANT ), which fell 3.65% or 9.80 points to trade at 259.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE: MAERSKa ) declined 2.80% or 320.00 points to end at 11,120.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE: MAERSKb ) was down 2.74% or 325.00 points to 11,540.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 37 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.32% or 1.10 to 339.20.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.18% or 1.54 to $69.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.53% or 1.13 to hit $72.78 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 17.89 to trade at $2,652.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 7.10, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 106.63.
