Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ), which rose 2.42% or 1,380.00 points to trade at 58,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) added 1.69% or 75.00 points to end at 4,500.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC: GAA_p ) was up 0.66% or 3.00 points to 459.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ), which fell 3.00% or 360.00 points to trade at 11,640.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ) declined 1.93% or 35.00 points to end at 1,780.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC: CFV_p ) was down 1.80% or 260.00 points to 14,200.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.69% or 75.00 to 4,500.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.73% or 5.52 to $325.02 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 3.51% or 397.00 to hit $11,697.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 6.14 to trade at $2,669.66 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.47% to 4,319.30, while BRL/COP fell 2.22% to 702.23.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 106.58.
