Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Holding Companies , Beverage and Utilities sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Marocaine pour le Commerce et l’Industrie Banque SA (CSE: BCI ), which rose 6.44% or 36.00 points to trade at 595.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Involys (CSE: INV ) added 3.04% or 2.92 points to end at 98.99 and Atlanta (CSE: ATL ) was up 1.55% or 2.00 points to 131.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were M2M Group (CSE: M2M ), which fell 8.78% or 48.40 points to trade at 503.10 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ) declined 6.00% or 0.99 points to end at 15.50 and Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: STR ) was down 4.33% or 1.90 points to 42.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 22 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.95% or 0.68 to $70.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.39% or 0.29 to hit $74.20 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 3.91 to trade at $2,671.89 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.02% to 10.47, while USD/MAD rose 0.07% to 9.97.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.73.
