Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy , Food and Developers sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 gained 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA: TPE ), which rose 7.72% or 0.27 points to trade at 3.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Enea SA (WA: ENAE ) added 7.11% or 0.85 points to end at 12.80 and CD PROJEKT SA (WA: CDR ) was up 3.10% or 5.70 points to 189.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupa Azoty SA (WA: ATTP ), which fell 3.07% or 0.59 points to trade at 18.61 at the close. Eurocash SA (WA: EUR ) declined 2.04% or 0.15 points to end at 7.19 and Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN SA (WA: PKN ) was down 1.86% or 0.92 points to 48.29.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 331 to 195 and 108 ended unchanged.

Shares in Enea SA (WA: ENAE ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 7.11% or 0.85 to 12.80. Shares in Eurocash SA (WA: EUR ) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.04% or 0.15 to 7.19. Shares in Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN SA (WA: PKN ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.86% or 0.92 to 48.29.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.70% or 1.21 to $70.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.03% or 0.77 to hit $73.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 6.21 to trade at $2,669.59 a troy ounce.

EUR/PLN was down 0.12% to 4.26, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.07% to 4.05.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 106.61.
